ABOUT US

We got stuck in a rainstorm near Leipers Fork (it was awesome!)

Having a fall bucket list has been so fun this year!

It’s the first year we’ve ever done it, and I just love having a bucket list of fun things to do together. It forces us to get outside and appreciate the changing world around us.

This weekend, we went to Leipers Fork, Tennessee to enjoy a super cute country town and to our super secret foliage drive spot.

It’s no longer a secret for you…

Leipers Fork Tennessee

Leipers Fork TN is one of the cutest towns in Tennessee. It is very small, one little strip, but it’s so cute!

The fall vibes in Leipers Fork were off the charts! We found a tree that was raining orange leaves.

We had to dance under it and take in the beauty of the moment.

After exploring the little shops in the town, we set off to our fall foliage drive, which was our actual bucket list item.

Fall foliage drive near Leipers Fork

This spot is a secret so you can’t tell anyone. Just kidding – we’re down to share the love so everyone can appreciate the beauty around us.

We set our GPS for Red Byrd cafe, which is just past Leipers Fork.

From there, we set the GPS to the Natchez Trace Bridge.

Just following those directions will give you the most beautiful fall foliage drive across Natchez Trace Parkway.

We were looking on a map and were blown away that Natchez Trace parkway goes all the way down into Mississippi or something crazy!

When driving down Natchez Trace, I can’t help but feel sensory overload with all of the beautiful colors!

We decided to stop on the parkway and do a fall photo shoot (another bucket list item).

It started raining just as we started taking photos…

But it was awesome! Exactly why I love the bucket list.

We were in the middle of this beautiful scenery in a rainstorm. Would we have been in that situation if we didn’t have a bucket list?

Probably not.

So because of our fall bucket list, we have a fun experience etched into our memories forever.

If you don’t have your fall bucket list yet, it’s not too late to start! Here’s our bucket list!
